I would like to use this moment as a moment where I show how grateful I am for this moment. The moment where I can reach out to you all, and maybe even touch you in a (minimal) way. Usually I don’t do this but since we are here, I might as well use this moment to say:

Supah! Dupah! is back!… to the future. VRIJDAG 22 JANUARI in CLUB MONZA proppen we weer 20 jaar aan hits in één avond en dankzij onze goede vrienden van Lock & Load mogen we weer een heleboel goodies uitdelen! En alsof dat niet genoeg is pompen zij gewoon weer een hip hop blockparty in de Lock & Loaded Studio! De sneaker valt niet ver van de booth, zeiden wij vroeger altijd…
In de Supah Dupah Room beloofd het nu alweer een klassiekertje te worden… Onze Mexicaanse superheld THE F-F-F-F-FLEXICAN komt langs om je meer bangers te geven dan een Piñata! DJ FLAVA laat even zien dat met smaak ook valt te twisten! FULLSCALE brengt something for the honeyz en DESPERATE HOUSEMAN speelt dit keer weer Hoopvolle Hiphopheld. Uiteraard komt MC RONDEZVOUS weer eens tentoonstellen dat hij nooit een mc had moeten worden. Zinin!
In de Lock & Loaded Studio hebben we dit keer de wereldberoemde en inmiddels beruchte Benny from the Block! Het is een echte eer om deze beat guru te mogen ontvangen en hij komt samen met Ron Di Floor zich eens flink misdragen. De Vantegenwoordigers komen er celebrity tikkertje spelen en er komt ook weer een customizer langs om al je oude spullen nieuw te maken!
Dus of je nou komt om te de hele avond gekke dansjes te doen, voor de gratis goodies van Lock & Load, omdat je onze beste vriend bent, voor de belachelijk mooie vrouwen, of gewoon voor de feel good vibe en music… Het maakt ons niet uit, als je er maar bent! En betaald natuurlijk. Maar achteuronegenennegentig in de voorverkoop!
Supah! Dupah! staat voor een paar simpele dingen in het leven. Dans hard, praat weinig, sjans veel, let the music play en pluk de day. En tegenwoordig ook sneakers en conceptueel hard komen hoorde ik laatst. Zinin!

Met de release van Rode Terreur vervolgen wij onze Propaganda voor de opmars van Nederlandse hiphop. In 2009 heeft deze muziek van eigen bodem weer grote stappen gezet. Wij zien graag dat de hoogtepunten uit 2009 slechts de basis vormen voor al het mooie dat 2010 ons zal brengen.
We roepen al onze volgers en trouwe bezoekers op als een front te vormen en samen met ons te genieten van Rode Terreur. Host Andrew Makkinga leidt je van begin tot eind door deze vloedgolf aan rood getinte bangers. DJ Abstract heeft de tracks naadloos in elkaar gemixt en dankzij Killing Skills klinkt Rode Terreur als een vlijmscherpe vuurlinie.

I love house music. I really do. And not just house music. Chicago
house music particular. Now, with Robin Banks – in 2010 – it’s my personal goal to bring this sound everywhere I play. So what is it? Where is it from? And why am I spending my time to let people meet this kinda music when there’s already loads of house music elsewhere? Well, just read on..I’ll bring you my vision on Alex van Zijl giving you Chicago house in the TwoThousandAndBANKS era.
Chicago house is originated from Chicago (duh) and started to develop into it’s current form, when DJ’s combined the DNA of house music with different kinds of species, like jazz, hip-hop, pop and so on. The result was a very creative sound that evolved throughout the years and became the music that I love.
A lot of people don’t know what Chicago house is all about, so never had the chance to love it the way I do.
That’s where I come in.

I will travel around the globe to everyone who wants to meet, enjoy and love the music that I bring. So when you find yourself dancing to this house music that’s more funky and creative then usual, you can say to yourself:
