Asics is Robin Banks’ biggest and most loyal partner “in crime”…

Besides the great “Can’t Run Like This” project we did last year (see: LINK), they also partner in parties like Abstract for President and RUN BIG….

For tonights (11/06/11) RUN BIG party Asics surprised some of us with a VIP visit to their “lab” and flagshipstore in Amsterdam (Stadhouderskade, 23 a-b).

At this store some of our people and Deejays did the ASICS FOOT ID – test.

Like we said at Robin Banks we RUN BIG and no one Can Run Like we do, so for sports/leisure Asics decided to reward us with some professional running gear. Starting with shoes. Being number one running brand in the world (!!!), Asics does not “just give you a pair of runners”….no at Asics they also RUN BIG, so they developed the FOOT ID test.

This test can be done by anyone at the Flagship store Amsterdam for €20 euro’s. If you run (for leisure or professional) we can strongly recommend the test. If you buy your shoes after the test, it’s for free (the test).

A Special scanner makes a visual of your footprint and also a 3D model of your feet

The result of the scans of both feet are given in a detailed overview

After the scan, a video of the way you place your feet while running is made

The video is referenced by a calculation on the computer. From this reference an Asics employee makes a recommendation for a shoe-type

You get all your results in a nice document with shoe recommendation.

With Vic Crezee as a special guest member of the family on a social murder-tip – (Oceans 11, 12 AND 13 ain’t got NOTHING on Vic for sure), host Mr. Simpson “calling” Gunshots and 2MuchLipstick & Flava “robin’ the bank” like we always do, Jimmy Woo was blessed with a total take over…Crowd went wild, our team was winning.
